Thank you so much everyone, I am so lost.

I think I must have woke when she passed. As times passes and the warmth leaves, it seems less like Indy. I have to look at her body, her face has been so tragic in these last days, and not what I want to remember.

She never got to wear her new Web Master Harness. It was the red one. She always looked good in red.

Oh no! Lisa, I'm so very sorry to hear this after you've been trying so hard to help her and to figure out what was wrong. And you never lost hope and tried everything in your power to help Indy. Sometimes there are things that they just can't recover from, no matter how much we try. She had a wonderful life with you and loved you very much. We're all here for you and share in your pain and sorrow.

Dave and I still remember Indy running on the beach at Fort Funston, the tiniest GSD mix in our group and definitely one of the most sensitive and sweet dogs we've ever had the pleasure to meet. I hope you don't mind me posting the picture Dave took of Indy that day.

Rest in peace, sweet Indy. You're in many, many people's thoughts today. angel

I am so sorry Lisa, you tried so hard. I know she felt your love and drew comfort from that as she passed. I think she is watching over you now.

I love that picture of my girl wub

When all is said and done, it may very well have been a brain tumor. And it has been there a long time if that is the case. Early this year I had a post about her paw knuckeling. Chances are the chiro kept her head straight and functioning and able to supply the nervous system for as long as it could. She was having periods where her legs would give out too. Doxy helped all that stuff, figured it was her tick stuff, but doxy also helps cancer.

I probably spent about $1500 in diagnostics and vet appts. I always wondered how people feel when they pay a lot of money and then the dog dies. While I would do some things differently if I had a crystal ball, I would have still done about the same things, and I don't regret any of it. From this day on, I know I tried my best to save her.

I am so glad that I didn't leave her at Davis and hand over her care in her last days. I would have regreted that finaincially, but so much more personally. She was the one that taught me to trust my instincts, and I honored her with that in her final days.

I will miss her dainty little paws. I always wondered how she held herself up with them wub

Lisa, I am so deeply sorry and saddened by your loss. I wish our words could offer some comfort but I realize the pain is just too great. Loosing a cherished dog is so unfair, their lifes are just too short compared to ours. Later when it hurts a little less, I hope you find comfort in the many wonderful memories of times you shared.

Healing hugs,
Rosa

Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss.

That was a great picture of Indy at Fort Funston that Karin posted. I remember that get together and how much Indy enjoyed that adventure to the beach. I am glad we had the opportunity to meet such a sweet spirit.

Know that she is now pain free and watching over you and Max never far from your heart.

I also remember the video you shared of Indy being chased by a cat. She was so cute! I loved watching that. She touched many of us.

Ditto totally loving that video! Her little dainty walk/run as she was checking out her little kitty friend (who was enjoying the interaction with her as much as Indy was) was one of THE cutest videos I've ever seen! Makes me smile just to remember it. smile

wub you always, Indy girl!!!

Lisa, I am glad she was with you and not at a Clinic where she was away from you. Indy had such a strong spirit she didn't need big paws to carry her, her spirit let her just float along. I think her barking last night was her way of telling you to hug and cuddle with her. She knew her time with you was coming to an end as much as both of you were fighting it, she wanted you to have no regrets, she wanted you to know that she wouldn't have done any thing different and she will always be your Indy girl. angel
