I would avoid switching to another kibble and instead do homemade for a while. The fact that she had a reaction while eating seems like a big clue to what's going on. I have food allergies and sensitivities and have very quick reactions when eating something I can't tolerate.
Consult your friend about what remedy and potency to start with. That's absolutely worth trying. She may advise that you wait on the cranberry capsules to see if the remedy works first.

Ahhhh - finally home and have a minute to think. Sometimes I think I create my own chaos. I have trouble leaving home at home when I am at work, especially when it comes to one of my babies (2 or 4 leggeds).
What exactly is a homemade diet? I have never done that before. I should state that I rarely cook. DH is a chef so the kids don't starve, but I will do whatever I have to for my girl.
I agree the homeopath route is worth trying. I have seen the benefits. Just trying to connect with my friend. I was checking out some of the things you mentioned Ruth on abchomeopathy.com. I would feel better getting some guidance from my friend though.
No problems for Tehya eating dinner tonight. She LOVES food - doesn't matter if its TOTW, carrots or ice cubes. Did I mention she gained 6 lbs in a week?

Homemade diets are a bit trickier with pups I would think. The nice thing about cooking for dogsd is that they are not that particular The weight gain could be from the abx. I agree about getting guidance with the homeopathy. I love it, but I do very little of it on my own. Can you list your kibble ingredients?

Glad to hear she's doing better, minus the itchies! I hope your friend can help guide you...it does sound environmental, I wonder if it will get better when winter sets in? If it's some sort of plant alergy that should help curb it. Good luck, keep us posted!

Ok - so we finally got together with my friend last night. She does something called Neuromodulation Technique (among others, but this is what we did last night). What came up was Tehya is having some reaction to SURPRISE ~ the berries, but also to environmental things like the grass, weeds, sticks etc. as well as to the chemicals in our water, which is very interesting as we went for a really long time without adding salt to our water softener. The hard water stains were ruining my dishes so we started adding salt to the softener again. None of us like the taste of the water now and apparently Tehya is reacting to that as well. There was also some DNA, lineage stuff that came up (but please don't ask me to explain this because I'm not sure I understand all this that much myself). Tehya tested fine with her food so we aren't going to change it. Her poops have been normal for over a week now with NO issues. The only thing we have noticed the last 2 weeks has been the itching and she was not doing that this morning. We may have to go back and treat again to keep the pathways clear, but for now - we will just watch her and see.

Wow! Sounds like you learned a lot and have some new options to look into! I'm glad Little T is doing better...but you know what the REAL problem is? A lack of adorable pictures...yep, I bet that flashing camera would cure her! You are too funny! I posted some pics from training over the weekend. Stay tuned for more. I've read a tiny bit about that stuff, though don't know anything about it.
Seems to be it's an energetic treatment, can it have lasting effects, or must it be done on a regular basis? I triead NAET for Indy years ago, different thing, but similar ideas, and it didn't work - so very cool that you are seeing results. Rose says this actually goes deeper than NET, which she does also. Not sure if its similar to NAET or not. We will see how this works. I've never tried this before so I'm new to it all. I really do think there is something to energy work. I am certified in Reiki II and Quantum Touch and have had some success with energy work. Rose has treated DH for some health stuff with results but she really recommended at least 6 treatments with him and he didn't finish (you know, feel better for a bit, go back, feel better, never go back) Anyway, Rose said Tehya may need to be treated again, but only time will tell that. Stay tuned. I will post more next week and let you know how its going.

Dog and humans should not drink softened water. When the water runs though the filter that is back washed with salt brink there is salt residue in the filter that the water runs though, the water picks up the salt residue that is what makes it soft.
