Friday Brady apparently cut his pad how I don't know.
On Saturday I noticed him limping so I started to soak in epson salt and on Sunday. Made him relax and no playing.
Monday I called the vet they told me to use a iodine solution
so I have been.
He is still limping. I feel so bad.

Is there anything else I can do for him
he is not licking it which I am so surprised.
I emailed a friend who is a Vet tech for her advise but you all have given me great advice in the past so I wanted to throw it out there.

Thank you so much!!
Boo Boo boy thanks you too

Aslan cut his paw really really bad a few months ago. He was bleeding every where but, stubborn as he is, never even limped. whistle

I wanted to take him to the vet but Dennis told me to just leave it alone and it would heal on his own. I kept his kennel really really clean so he wouldn't get it infested and sure enough, it healed really well to my surprise. smile

Rest, keeping it clean, and time will heal Boo's boo-boo! Poor fella, and poor you worried about your boy, Dawn! hugging Betadine is good used 2x/day. If you want to, you could use a salve of triple antibiotic ointment, but likely not needed.

For his entertainment, try a Kong on a rope, a Busy Buddy squirrel toy, those silly large plastic puppy teething keys, or any new toys because they will smell new, look new, keep him interested and not quite so bored. Sending good thoughts to Brady and to you, and to his paw! gsdbeggin

Could he have bruised his pad? Meega used to do that when she ran to hard and would limp for a few days, but I could never find a cut on her.

When we do cut our paws I keep them clean and make her relax a bit. I also have a lotion that I got from Pets Mart that has aloe in it.

Are you sure there isn't anything in the cut that is causing him to limp?

Yes there is a cut
and I check and can't see anything in it
Patty I ordered some Benadine
and I have been soaking in iodine/water solution 2 times a day
he isn't limping all the time usually when he gets up

when he comes in I wipe it down with damp towel
it could be bruised he is tough on his feet
Jenn knows

He'd be licking it if it were infected. Poor Biggie.

I have used the Azmira Rejuva Spray in the past for paw problems: http://shop.robbinspetcare.com/azmira-rejuva-spray.html
I just soak a cotton ball with the liquid and wipe the paws with it. I like the fact that it dries fast unlike the horrible mess that ointments leave. It is also anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Hope poor Brady feels better, the handsome boy wub
