I hope this will post. It's a recall on Victor dog food (which is what I feed) but it's on the 5 lb bags. I'm sure none of us are buying 5 lb bags for our dogs but wanted to post just in case.

As it's turned out, looks like ALL OF VICTOR DOG FOOD has been recalled, not just the small bags. I just found out about this tonight and have had to scramble to get a substitute. My G-d, dog food is expensive. I ended up ordering Diamond.. I checked Merrick and Taste of the Wild but they were too expensive. Now I'll need to go out tomorrow and get some food to hold them over which no doubt will cause the runs....then they'll get the runs again when the Diamond food arrives....not a pretty picture.

If you feed Victor (I think it's just the dry food) please google about the recall.

I am feeding Diamond Naturals, and was worried I wouldn't be able to get it. I got five bags Monday. That may sound like I am stocking up, but I usually by 7-10 bags at a time, as I currently have a dozen GSDs that all like to eat every day. I looked at the new recall to see if it is on there and it isn't.
