Welllll, got ok for very limited stuff, caution about use, approved to gas up the lawn mower (rider) and a short splint. No x-rayis. Back in another month for those. Got the news that full recovery takes at least 6 months.

I feel pretty fortunate to be able to work with this doctor. Word from another person is that one clinic changed ownership and all the hand specialists didn't like the new terms and left. That left her scrambling to find an in-network person. It might also explain why the parking lot was so packed that I felt they should provide shuttle service wink They were pretty heavily booked.

I do not want to let any of my doctors retire - or their PA's either.

So a bit disappointed with no x rays but seemingly OK. Just another 4 months of being careful. It's OK. That will get me out of a lot.

You'll be just fine to lift the Thanksgiving turkey out of the oven loveturkey

Really Middle, being careful is probably good advice in general. I hope that the pain is gone/treatable.

party That's wonderful news.

I hear ya about not wanting your health care providers to retire. I've had two cardiologists retire in like three years, it's a pain to find someone else. Recently I went to a new one. I didn't care for her all that much, but I'll keep her. She wasn't bad. Clearly she was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information in my charts, but then again who wouldn't be?

As for age, I should be ok with all my other doctors. Their careers should outlast me.
