I'm glad to hear there was no cancer detected. Now to just get her healed up and eating.

Excellent news on the biopsy results, you must be in 7th heaven. Hope she keeps the shirt on and leaves the stitches alone until Saturday when they are unstapled. Lots of luck!

Last night's meal - same deal. Ate the fancy stuff followed by some kibble. She's moving much better without that spleen - it was 2 to 3 times normal size so that was a lot of pressure pushing other organs around. Today's news --- no cancer detected in biopsy. Recovery continues, stitches will be taken out (dog "unstapled") on Saturday. Tried taking off the shirt = too much attention to incision so it is back on. To say I'm happy with the results would be an understatement.
Thats wonderful news!!!!!! Oh, I'm just so happy for you both

I'm glad to hear the incision is healing well. Hopefully the worrying it is because it's healing and itchy.
Hoping her appetite sorts it out soon. She's doing so well!

Somedays she's up, some she's not. Today seems good. I, on the other hand, let's say "sleep interrupted" too many times.
Yesterday's menu was a wee bit of kibble mixed with fancy refrigerated food from the natural food grocery and cottage cheese. This was after deciding against kibble, fancy stuff, cheese & brewer's yeast & yogurt -- which had been quite tasty a day earlier. But two servings yesterday.
Today, she stayed home while I took BTY2 to track and a bit of obedience. She wanted to come, though, which was a good sign. Now I need to nourish myself and see what Ms. gourmet deems acceptable today.
And find what I did with my watch quick before I forget to look for it.... (which has been happening a lot.)

My goodness, they can be fussy eaters can't they? Yesterday's prime rib needs to be replaced with Filet Minon today Hope you found your watch.

Here I thought was the only one who still used a watch. Everyone else I know uses a cell phone. Sounds like BTE is as fussy as Ciara can be sometimes.

As for your "sleep interrupted" if you mean what I think you mean then many of us are in the same boat. wink ---- Well, some of it is me but a lot of this was dogs moving about - I'm sleeping downstairs and to save the planet their beds have plastic "mattress covers" underneath the fabric covering.
And watches -- yes, time is circular, here. ...
Found the watch. Like many things lately, it was in a good spot. I just needed to look more carefully.
Cell phone - carried for emergencies, often needs charging, gets naggy calls urging me to upgrade ---- friends know to use the, get this, land line number...
Off to see what I can get that dog to eat tonight...
