We noticed German shepherds showing up in shelters and have been patiently looking for a good fit and trying to find the time to make the drive. Most of them are gone quickly but those that stay have certain behaviors or personality that would not be a good fit so we just kept waiting. My youngest was next to get a dog. He wanted a GSD. We agreed adopting from the shelter would be where we get our next dog. One day, he and I happened to be in the area when we could visit the shelter for some new arrivals. We went to check them out and see if we could find one my son likes. He did... And she happens to be half GSD. Meet Pepper "Socks". A collie/GSD mix. She is now 4 months old.





She is great with Ranger. So sweet to everyone. Pepper has quite a sassy attitude. She's a very good sport with the kids and eager to learn. She isn't full blooded, but she certainly have parts of her that looks GS and has some of those traits that reminds me of the breed. We have had her for almost 2 months now... Sorry to keep this from y'all for so long . Life has been busy!
