We lost her on February 18, 2021. She had been refusing food off and on, and throwing up after eating a few times, so we took her in for a check up on Tuesday the 16th. The vet didn't see anything obvious, but ordered blood work. Results came in the next day, and he suggested that we have a consultation with an internal medicine specialist and an ultrasound, which was scheduled for the next day. We dropped her off at 11, and at 12 the vet called. They had seen a mass in her liver, and her abdomen was filled with blood. They were 95 percent certain that she had an hemangiosarcoma. I think there is a board rule that says you can only go x number of hours after mentioning a new puppy without posting pictures. t's true.
