Repeat customers are awesome. This is because you know how they did with their first dog, and you know the pup is going to a good home, and you might get to see this one grow up.
Soldier's people came today to look at their new addition for the first time. The puppies were so little that, there is not much difference. Out of the two girls, one is markedly "busier" -- the lady's word, going all over the large puppy pen. The other was happy to curl up in her arms and be held the entire time. But they are babies. Who knows which will be spunky and which will be content next week.
Evenso, the socialization for the baby-puppies is great. Soldier was a Bear/Mufasa puppy. This one is a Karma/Kojak puppy, so I had the perfect excuse to run out back and bring up Kojak. They were so impressed with his coloring and how nice his coat is. They asked me what I bathed him with. I was like "Bathe him?" I had brought up Kaiah too, and they were impressed with her coat as well. I was impressed with both of their temperaments. Kaiah is a year old, and year old puppies can be a handful, especially with no training. But she was great. I can't remember the last bath either of them have had. Yes, I have bathed some of my older ladies this year. But the young ones are really clean. I said she has a swimming pool out back and last week or so she took a dip in a pond. We discussed what I am feeding them, and they bought my last bag of dog food, (I offered), so I went up and got more today.
They love their boy, and I love hearing about how much they love their boy. They already have a Christmas stocking for the new girl. Repeat customers love the dog that they got from you the first go around and are happy to come and get a second. These are also generally the people that you get to know beyond the payment of the puppy, and the first year, the honeymoon phase. They become friends. Some were friends before they got a puppy from me, but now are even closer friends.
Ah well. What a beautiful day to bring the puppies out and enjoy the sunshine, and watch folks holding and petting them, and watching my big dogs interact with the people.
No pictures. When I walked back over to the pen after watching the people go, all eight of them were lying in a pile on the cot -- what a great shot. I pulled out my not-so-smart phone (it's a flip phone), and tried to snap a picture (didn't want a camera). Well, I tried to look at the picture later and it wasn't there. Boogers!

Glad you have repeat customers, that says a lot about the pups you raise. At four weeks they should just about getting started at moving around and developing their little personalities. Too bad the phone didn't take the picture. Please post some when you get a chance as I'd love to see them. There's nothing like puppy pictures to bring a smile on everyone's faces.

Love to hear about new pups and their owners and I agree that repeat clients are great. Would also love to see some puppy pictures when you have a chance.

Just looking for puppy pictures to light up the board. LOL!!! I tried to take one with my phone, but I didn't get it. I have to do the camera thing, and that is kind of painful, because I have to turn on a computer that hasn't been on for a year, and up-load the pictures, and then sort, and download them to a disk of some sort and get them here and up load them again. It's painful. I don't know if I can get to it until the weekend. Maybe.

YAY! They are adorable - your niece included. I can't believe how grown up she has become. My, how time flies.
Thank you! That made my day. Yes, thank you, she will be 13 in January, her sister just turned 13 this month. They are growing up. I love them so much. Elena said, she wishes the little runt, Vlad would stay small forever, and I said I wish she and her sister would stay small and childlike forever too, but then I told them that every life stage is special, even old ladies of fifty or so. I am just happy that my girls still love the puppies. With so much to compete with, riding horses cross country, getting black belts, camping with the American Heritage girls, traveling around the world, maybe the novelty of a litter of puppies wouldn't be so anticipated. But it is. They love to come and see the babies and they are so good with them. Their mom and I really helped them develop into dog-people, even though they do not have a dog.

Thank you SeanRescueMom, but honestly, I did not get the camera going. My nieces took these pictures when they were here, and I demanded they send them to me for you all, LOL.

When you have the best aunt in the world and she has baby puppies, I just don't see how anything else can compete with that. You and your sister have done well.
