In a fire that occurred yesterday in the city of Temuco (Chile) a mother dog saved all her puppies of only ten days old, carrying them from the burning house to a safe place, as the ladder of the firetruck. The pups are now recovering in a Veterinary Clinic, doing ok, except for one of the pups that has burnings. http://www.soychile.cl/Temuco/Sociedad/2...-en-Temuco.aspx

Bless the mother dog's heart.
Risking her own life to save her pups, she deserves a medal of some kind.

According to the firefighters, they had already moved the litter to a safe place efore he started to carry them, but maybe she wanted more human company or was too stressed by all the havoc and decided the truck was safer.
Sadly the burned pup died during the night and she and the rest of the pups were moved to what is left of the burned home, because she was too stressed at the vet clinic (specially after the press found the story and paparazzi would not let the rest). They are being cared there by their owners.
