I'm not even sure how he got them, but Sheldon has Canine Papilloma Virus...He doesn't even like dogs...anywho, any suggestions on how to make them go away sooner? I've got him on a Lysine supplement and a little colloidal silver as well, just to boost the immune system.

Sorry I haven't been on lately...I've been getting caught up in work and I started sewing.

edit: Here's a pic. It's icky.

Poor guy. I would have the vet take a look at them. Hope he feels better soon!

Oh wow. Aiden had one little wart on his lip but it wasn't nearly that big. I was told that it would go away on its own, but it ended up getting ripped off during protection work.
I think I'd take him to a vet for warts that big. Poor baby frown

Yeah, that's pretty ucky!

Sage's thread was the one I was going to go looking for. Here's another more mild version: http://germanshepherdhome.net/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/157654/Papillomas#Post157654

Use caution. When they burst, they bleed...A LOT!

We used a homeopathic remedy called THUJA and added high dose of Vitamin C (3K if tolerated) as it can be an immunity related. With those two, Siena's cleared up within 2 weeks. However, your dog's look much worse.

Best of luck!

Thanks for the heads up on that! I'm mad I didn't grab the Thuja today...I was actually looking at it, but wasn't sure if it was ok for dogs, so I went with Colloidal silver and lysine to boost immunity (Harlo is on Lysine anyways too, so I just added it to his water too). I really hope these clear up soon...I'm afraid to touch them (even though I know I can't get them xD)

HOLY BLURGH! Wow. Oh my. Jeepers.

http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_canine_viral_papillomas.html

Interesting on the abx.

DMG is my favorite extra to add to an immune system, plus probiotics.

Man, that's a google image photo FOR SURE! Good shot.

How much is 3 drops? My cats get capsules and they are tiny and when they are sick they get 1000mg/day.

I got the tincture (for some reason there were no pills of it), and I was giving the child dose.

Harlo gets it too! Are your cats FeLV?

No, Varda came with a horrible URI and then Gio caught it. It took me 5 months to get them both healthy.

Molly had a small one (by comparison) on her lip, I had it removed by the vet and touch wood she hasn't had another.

Poor Sage, that's really gross looking ... is he uncomfortable or is it one of those things that he doesn't even notice he has a problem? Hope he's feeling better soon!!!
