Remember this: If it doesn't match the other one that is only cosmetic My Max had a hematoma in his ear that had to be lanced and stitched. At first it looked normal, but as it healed it did curl up some. I kept calling the vet asking if I should tape or put something inside the ear to hold it. I had a lot of ideas, which he said I could try, but it wouldn't make a bit of difference - the ear would do what it wants when it healed. And he was so right. Here's what Max's ear looked like. I must admit that at first I was disappointed, but then I figured what the heck - it gave him character! After a while, I didn't even notice it. I hope Ember doesn't have the same thing happen, but it's definitely a possibility and more than likely, a probability (according to what I was told, experienced and seen in dogs over the years with ears that have been lanced). Not trying to be pessimistic - just realistic. Better to start thinking about that inevitablity now and then if the ear doesn't change, you'll be elated!!

She looks kinda fat in that pic...she is not. If anything she is probably a little underweight. She's about 62 lbs and 24 inches. WHAT?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She looks GREAT...not fat...and really, not underweight either. I think we all see too many fat dogs these days that when we see one that is actually at a healthy/working weight we think their too skinny!
