Ok..we're back
I cried like a fool the whole time I was there...Internist said they are taking extra precautions and that we are doing the right thing.

Mentioned to nurse that maybe she might be going into heat and could they check and should I wait. She said no...that most likely he would go ahead with surgery regardless.

Gave Cheyenne lots of kisses told her we love her and will be back. She went along with the nurse...head down...with no problems...she is just such a sweet wonderful girl.

and now we wait...I don't know what to do with myself. I'm literally shaking. I can't believe we got to this day.

Right here with you, Mary Ann. I've got Starbuck's bold, but you might try Ruth's chamomile tea.

Deep breaths.

Lots of people are here and hoping and fearing and waiting-lots of love and positive thoughts for Miss Cheyenne.

Mary Ann - I know your stomach is in knots and you're driving yourself crazy waiting. I tend to do the same when in a stressful situation, so I know exactly what you're going through right now. It's okay to freak out. My opinion is that it's better to freak out and then be tremendously relieved when everything turns out okay!!

It will be so wonderful to have that tumor gone and the spay done so that there is no chance of pyometra! She's going to be like a brand new girl!!

Worrying right along with you... hugging

Mary Ann,

I am feeling your stress. But Cheyenne is in really good hands. I hate waiting I am not good at it. I usually attack some house cleaning chore that has been neglected for a while. Yes I attack it, I take out all my nervous energy on the task.

Sending you some calming vibes. Sending Cheyenne some really good healing and health vibes. Cheyenne you have a lot of things to do yet in your life, so this is going to make you feel so much better. Stay strong and don't give up.

I don't know....all I know is that the internist said "he's very fast". I know too when I talked to the surgeon...he said the surgery itself would be fast and easy.

As far as a time..when they will get to her...I couldn't pin one down. They said it really depends on how their day is going...the cases on the schedule, etc......

He will be calling with a detailed update...I do know he is very good with that...as he operated on Mya and was very good with calling.

When I had my Dixon in to have his teeth removed I had to drop him off by 8am and pick him up at 3pm. He had severe Chronic Renal Failure and I called every hour just to be told they had not taken him in yet. They finally took him in at 2pm. I can't stand the waiting game either. Drives me nuts. I used the waiting time to just research different herbs and treatments for his kidney failure and tooth removal. I still thought about it and worried but at least I had a plan when he came home. I felt productive lol. Are they saying how long Chey will need crate rest?

The part about her head down is a tear jerker. It always seems as if they are lost without you and scared even though they probably have no fear since they don't know what is going to happen. Stay strong Mary Ann you and Chey have hundreds of prayers on your side.
