I'm not sure where this should go, so feel free to move it to the correct location. I am trying to get this girl into a rescue at the moment and I'm pretty sure she is a PB. I can't really describe her coat though. Its fairly short (normal) coat length over body, but she has the wisps behind her front and back legs and a very full tail. It seems like she is a mix of a short and a long plush coat. if anyone has experience, I would love opinions about what type coat this is, and if she truly is a PB GSD.

Here are some photos:

Thanks for all the help!

I can't offer you an opinion on her type of coat, but I have to say that she is gorgeus! wub Thank you for trying to help her.

Gorgeous dog! I do see some northern breed influence, which would explain the coat, tail, general body shape, appearance of head, etc. She has a very interesting bicolor pattern- tarheels but no toe pencils. Interesting!

My vote is for GSDx with a short (or plush) coat.

She has white spotting on her feet, otherwise, she would probably have the toe-penciling. Her snout doesn't look like a northern breed to me, too long.
Her eyes are pretty light in color. I would guess a mixed up bag of lines, GSD! She is a pretty girl, hope she finds a great forever home!

I see an "Nordic" breed mixed in as well.

I'm kind of curious. What traits of hers give her a nordic feel?

My guess is a poor mix of working and AM showlines.

I am so frustrated. Not at anyone here....

I have been trying to get this girl taken up by a rescue, I offered to foster her (since I have adopted from them and wouldn't mind taking her in until a foster home up there opens up).

Well I contacted them about Bell on the 22nd of Feb. Since then ever response has been evasive and keeps going on about how they don't have room for her yet and just try to buy her more time.

It is now Mar. 2, and I get an email from them sayingt hey don't think she is 100% GSD and they see some collie because of the tail and the nose(?????).

So a whole week goes by and they were sent pictures a week ago and just now is letting me know this.

So for those of you that said you thought there was some mix in her, can you explain why? And does anyone know a rescue that WOULD take her on?
