Still doing good here!

Off antibiotic...doing another round of Orbax. Off Vetmedin (heart failure med)...staying on Enalapril (another heart failure med) a little longer.(he had put her on both heart meds after our 2nd visit where she wasn't doing well...temporary thing...and whatever they do...she got better pretty fast) Weaning off Diuretic. Staying on asthma med for now. Recheck next week.

Sorry for the boring update...but again...I also like to keep this as a diary of everything.

Huge pot of chicken soup cooking...Mary will be sharing as now she's sick too. Everyone else is on the mend smile

Started adding some immunity support that was sent to me for Cheyenne...she'll be superwoman in no time smile

I know people/dogs don't catch things from eachother...but it is freaky the entire house got sick at the same time.

Mary Ann,

Madam, after some of the hair-raising shocks that Cheyenne put you through, we're extremely glad for a boring update.

Thanks for the calm,

MJ

ETAm

I hope the chicken soup works for Mary, too

Reports about recovery are very exciting!!!

I just got an update from a senior chihuahua whom I had pulled almost three years ago wheezing with acute pneumonia. The pound even gave her a rabies shot on top of that at release, it almost sent her over the top. She wasn't even to be shown to rescue as nobody at the pound expected a rescue to take her. She had a will to live though, and was full of character, so I pulled her. She recovered. Had one relapse since, last year, caught early, and overcame that, too. Her mom emailed me last night that "Daisy is ticking strong, and refusing to eat the same thing every day. She is a prima donna extraordinaire!" That made me think of Grannie Cheyenne!

We keep sending healing energy to Cheyenne. I am so glad she is feeling better. And you, too.

PS Daisy was on antibiotics for weeks. She also had quite a heart murmur, I forgot the grade. And dental disease. She got a dental cleaning, came out of it great, my vet does excellent anesthesia.
