I tried some novice reiki - kept falling asleep though (too tired!).

Please be careful with the googling. This is serious, but so was the tumor, and that had such a good prognosis. I'm a huge googler, but do be careful, this is Chey, and she is a fighter.

Damnit...I haven't been on here this week. I wish you had said something earlier when I emailed you about Dakota. I'm going, actually already have started saying prayers for you both. Please take care of yourself. I know Chey is in the best of care, and hopefully you are too.

Good morning, Mary Ann family. May your fever be gone this morning, Mary Ann, and may Cheyenne feel better. I am glad your DH is there to help you both. You sounded so sick you sure need to be cared for as well, staying warm and hydrated, getting chicken soup, and all.

Wish someone could stop by with a nebulizer. Antibiotics can be added to the water so they can get into the lungs directly. With my own asthma/pneumonia episodes, I found turning on the hot shower and steaming up the bathroom helps already.

All my best wishes to you and Chey.

Keep the prayers coming...they work! And Cheyenne is such a fighter...combined with the prayers...we can get through this.

I thought for sure we were going to the ER today. It was a tough night and this morning I didn't think she was going to get up. But she finally did..and then she drank ALOT of water....took her med in cheese...so I decided to push my luck and make some broth with chicken and rice..and she had some of that! She seems more alert today...as in..not that real sickly look she had yesterday with her eyes half shut.

it's really touch and go and I'm just taking this min. by min.

Mary Ann,
Are you feeling any better? You had better have some of that chicken soup too! Encouraging that she looks and apparently is feeling better. I agree - it's going to be a minute to minute thing for a while. And I doubt that Chey will get to make a move without you watching. At least you have the e-vet in case you need them. Continuing to send healing thoughts to Cheyenne - and you too!

Kris

she just insisted on going down my steps to potty in the yard! I had papers on the porch...as she didn't have the strength before. I was very worried about her doing that..but she did very well. So..to sum it up..she is now eating a little bit..taking her meds...drinking...seems more alert...
Asked Dr. about Nebulizer...he doesn't want to use it for her...said it would be too stressful for her.

Oh that is good news. Cheyenne you keep on trucking and fighting that nasty infection.

Mary Ann, is she comfortable in the bath room. Maybe run a steamy shower with Cheyenne in the room might help loosen up some of the junk in the lungs.

Sending more healing and strength vibes to Cheyenne. hugging
