aside from the breathing...I think that being down for so long has exacerbated her hip issues (yeh...of course we have bad hips too) She seems very stiff it's difficult to get around. I am NOT throwing any more meds or a pain killer at her right now. Any natural suggestions?

Springtime supplement, fish oil, vit c. What are you giving her right now?

I give Cain, well really all three dogs, Genesis Resources GCM Plus Hip & Joint
Formula every day. I get it from my vet. I sent you an email.

Follow up vet appt today...WAIT until they see us walk in!! (I know by the way my vet sounded over the weekend...that they didn't really expect her to pull through)

So sounds like the lake did her good! Is her breathing any better?

Hi Lori..unfortunately..we never made it to the lake. We had a delay in leaving...then very bad storms moved in. It was one of those evenings..where I had the two dogs clinging to me.

Yes..her breathing is better..not great...but much better..

She still has a very hard time getting around...but she's managing. I think coupled with everything else..her arthritis/bad hips are now getting her down as well.

Here is wishing and hoping that her arthritis and joint issues, as well as breathing concerns, ease up and give Cheyenne a time of feeling better. We sometimes say "good days and bad day"s-- may sweet Chey be having a good day soon. She is in such a loving home with a loving family. May she rally and feel better. You are doing an amazing job with her Mary Ann!
