Thank you all so much. Such wonderful comments and I am resolving for once and for all to come into this section and try to be as kind to others as you all have been to me.
I am working a ton this week so won't be on so much. The work helps, but is tiring, a couple of times on drives between places I was alone with my thoughts and shock.
I picked up his ashes yesterday, so he got to go on a long ride with me from place to place for work, right in the front seat, but, not quite the way I'd like him to be!
I've been telling/emailing people who knew him, and have to tell two more this morning.
The vet office has been so wonderful, a couple of the techs emailed me, I talked to a couple of the receptionists when I called about Nico's vaccines and they were telling me how much they enjoyed Bruno, and his vet chopped about 1/3 of the price off the events of Friday, which in a practical way, is so helpful. Bruno never went to the vet for himself, but was there for everyone else, and would bark like a lunatic in the parking lot, run in, put his head under the swinging door to say hi to the receptionists (get your treat arms ready!) and then stare at everyone until they fed him. I let him get as many treats there as they would give.
Blurgh! Thank you all so very much again. Hope to be on tonight to really read things, and am very appreciative of your support because this is so weird to me.

Jean, you have always been so supportive and thoughtful of others, don't even second guess that. I will say, after i experienced the depth and the warmth of the full support here (first with Indy), it took on a new meaning... Hope the work week helps you get through this...weekends I find both a relief, andalso more difficult in some ways.

Jean, I am so glad and thankful that you are posting, and reading. We are all here for you. Many more of us have been touched by Bruno than you suspect. He was always a delight for us in your stories (ever the busy-bossy magickally intuitive diagnostician, the indomitable Dr. Bruno! ) and hamming it up in photos where he seemed to have so much presense, he leapt off the page! He was a big, important dog, and made us laugh and feel grateful to him for his talents in caring for your pack in his own way. Please be gentle with yourself as the shock and feelings present themselves. Some extra fluids, rest, and tons of humor can help you heal. LOVED the stories of Bruno barking and getting his drive-by treats from the techs! What an amazing firecracker! Sending you positive, healing vibes today.

I am glad you are finding a way to deal with your loss, I think being busy is good. And taking just a moment or two at a time to remember Bruno and feel the pain of his being gone is also a good thing. You can't begin to heal without feeling the pain too. But a little at a time is good, no getting overwhelmed with the sad thoughts.

Oh how time fly's when were having fun with our loved ones but seems to come to a grinding hault when they are gone and each day is so painfully slow to pass.
Jean thank you for posting such lovely pics of Bruno and for showing his character over the years. Its so easy to see how happy and loved he was.
