My friend took some great photo's of Zefra the other day so I thought I would share and see what everyone thinks. We are just working on a stack for her since she will be entering the SV ring in about two months time and shortly after the trial field! 10 months female / intact 23" 62lbs

Elisabeth, has Lisa or anyone else "in the know" already given you a critique on her? If so, could you copy and paste here? If not, would you mind if I took a shot in the dark?
As far as the stack goes, I'm sure you probably already know this but she is overstretched in all of the last three photos. In fact, starting from the second photo in your posts, I think she is actually getting progressively stretched out more and more with that rear leg LOL
I think the first stack is the most accurate, but the camera angle is not as flattering as it could be? It looks like you have it tilted just a smidgen to the right (as in Zefra's rear - the right side of the photos - appears to be just the tiniest bit closer to the lens). Might be wrong and it is just a product of my blurry vision, though!

Hey Rei, They have, but it has been a month or two since.. I was hoping they would see this. I know the stacks need to improve - we are getting there... LOL.... just having her stand still and not wiggle when someone approaches is a feat in itself! Me and my friend were just playing around, working on her standing still and being approached, touched and still maintaining her stay! so these were just a spur of the moment photo's. I will try to get better ones next week once the snow clears. I appreciate your critique though, it is always helpful to hear it from others, besides, Trent always looks so good in his stacks!

I will try to get better ones next week once the snow clears. I appreciate your critique though, it is always helpful to hear it from others, besides, Trent always looks so good in his stacks! I know how it is! We started regularly stacking Trent right around when he was Zefra's age, and he loved to fidget and wiggle and wag that tail of his whenever I tried to set him up. He's got the gist of it now, but it's still tough. For Zefra, I would imagine that it is easy for her to become overstacked in the rear just because of her minimal rear angulation - if her back leg just inches a bit back, and there goes that perfect stack! A dog really can look different depending on how he is stacked, and it's hard to get a shot that really does them justice! We only have the good stacks of Trent because we do it so often... and he's not even training for the ring, I'm just the crazy lady By the way I do really like how Zefra's front has developed for her age, lovely depth of chest and good front angulation and withers from what I can tell. She's isn't just a gangly teenager anymore
