I really hope that once it's drained, that's the end of it.

This is just awful. Poor little Cooper and poor you. I hope that draining it makes it go away forever. And I agree about the timing of the vaccines! Hopefully the remedies will help his system clear out.

I'm sure it doesn't make you feel better but Varda is a medical nightmare. She has about 10 things wrong with her and every time I think I've got the URI under control it comes back. I'm just on a one day at a time approach with her...luckily she has no idea and is sweet as can be. Hang in there!

His temperature has been fine everytime they check it. I have started the enzymes before 2 of his meals (don't want to give him too much too soon).

The fluid looked clearish Mary Jane, but the vet said after I left he would look at in (under microscope I think) to check.

Oh no Ruth, what is wrong with little Varda?

I gave him the Sulphur and Nux Vomica and today his first Thuja.

Thank you all for your good thoughts, the good part is it doesn't slow him down! Although I expect Moo will be happy to have a day without him tomorrow

He came home from the vets looking like this:





I took the cone off that night and he didn't chew the bandage at all. I took the bandage off on Sunday and touch wood so far no lump.

They took 30 something mils of fluid out.
