Today is Toozer's 11th birthday! party

We started the day with tracking. I arrived at the tracking field before dawn to lay the track and let it age for a couple hours. It is not easy to walk straight lines in the dark! I left the field to meet my mom for breakfast and returned to find a gaggle of geese in the middle of the track. Tooz did fantastic! She nailed it. The only time she went off track (by less than 10 feet) was when we reached the woods. She searched up and down the woods edge until she realized the track went straight into the brush and trees.

"Kick my ball!"


After a nap at home, I took her with me to work and she took a walk with her buddy Shadow the GSDx. It was 60 degrees today so I gave Tooz a bath outside (with hot water). She wasn't happy until it was over and she ran around the yard like a maniac.

My mother made her a meat cake...raw ground beef with mashed potato icing, a dollop of canned pumpkin, and sprinkling of parmesan cheese.


"Can I eat it now?"






Right now, she is passed out on her bed with a clean blankie and a very full belly! grin Thanks for looking.
