We come to this section to brag about our dogs. We go to other sections to get help and we admit our faults. I want to give everyone opportunity and permission to brag on themselves and in turn get to know you all a little better. What is it, dog related, that you are really good at? This doesn't have to be something validated by other people, just what do YOU think?

I have excellent patience when it comes to working with dog reactive dogs, fearful dogs, and dogs with impulse control issues. (But only because Risa taught me I had to be.)

I am not one to brag on myself but over the last 22 years I have had numerouws GSD's. Love the breed, know a lot about the breed and sometimes know little about the breed!

I can say I am a darn good student and a excellent dog owner.

Yeah, me neither. But, I think it is really good to not only focus on what you have to learn, but also what you are good at. People are more successful when they play to their strengths.

I realized I didn't answer this one yet.

I think I am good at reading my dogs. I don't always know what is going on, but I can pick up body language and expressions. This is why I ask so many theory questions. If I know what the motivation is, then I can trouble shoot and apply the right response to the behavior.

I am really good at making my dogs feel loved. I am alpha leader Mom, full of love and patience, and they always know they are safe and cared for.
