The holidays are over.....

..and the winter has begun. When bills are stack as high as the nearest toboggon run. The seed catalogues are dog eared from mulling on the pages. Which seeds to plant, the newest craze or old faithfuls from the ages. The shepherds lie about the floor, no worries do the carry All safe and warm beside the hearth they gladly yearn to tary. I look on line to check the site. Of germanshepherdhome And find the evergreens are dressed in gowns as white as bones. Thank you Val you made my day with your artistic gester. I wait to see what will come next (I really hate to pester) You make the winter days go by I never know what I'll find. I can hardly wait to see whats next could it be VALentines?

Sandra you are the talented one with words.
Yep Valentines day then St.Patrick's day. Plus in Feb. we will have our birthday party again. So hopefully those things will make winter go by faster.

Oooh, I think we should start a crusade to list all the holidays! I'm sure we could get some challenging ones up there. I like the dog chewing on the heart - I think it's a great touch!

middleofnowhere, interesting idea. Not sure I have that much time. I try to make each banner a bit different from the year before.

I like the Banner, but I still think it is nice once in a while to dress it up, makes it more homey than <cough> some other places.

middle, I knew you were kidding. I could imagine some of the holidays you guys could find.....
I like the Banner, but I still think it is nice once in a while to dress it up, makes it more homey than <cough> some other places. I used to celebrate Taiwan's Tomb Sweeping Day.
