I recently started making homemade tugs for my dogs because shipping costs are so high and because I enjoy it. I have done french linen, burlap, suede and am going to try leather and jute next. They are all reinforced, triple stitched and are holding up very well, I am surprised because I am not so crafty. Here are a few photo's of the suede tugs (first ones, so they are a little rough).

Looks good! What are you using for filling? Thanks! I use a few different things, depending on the dog, and age. These ones are softer for Zefra and younger dogs so I used this industrial padding but usually I use a natural fiber filling.

Nice!! I'd like to order a two-handled french linen! Haha... I made one for Stark and it is holding up well and he loves it! Never thought about selling them before. I just do it to save some money for me and to give my dogs some new tugs/toys.
