Just wanted to post this last video to this thread... Laos is doing well.. if we over do it during swim sessions or other physical therapy he'll becomes a little sore, but with rest he's back ready to go in a day or two. I just let him dictact how much to do.

Laos is Looking good. I know it took a while for Lakota to get full strength and extension on his leg, he still babies it once in a while.
Was that Dante sounding so unhappy???

It's been alittle while... but I thought I'd give you all a quick update.. after a 4 month regime of antibiotic therapy for infection, Laos seems (keeping fingers crossed) to be over that. He's finally starting to get his muscle mass back.. and though he'll probably always have a slight limp and off-gait, he seems okay. Even started doing a little "light" obedience/protection work with him again for fun. I took some pictures over the weekend and just wanted to share.. it was this time last year that he was diagnosed with the ruptured CCL.. it's been a long year.

He is a spectacularly gorgeous dog, Lynn. What an ordeal the two of you have been through! I am so glad that he is getting back to normal. I hope he continues to improve and enjoy life.
You will hopefully be surprised by his ability to recover. I've had a couple of walking genetic nightmares who did really well with progressive (gentle) rehab and supplements.
