My friend recently lost her female GSD and is starting her search for another. She is looking for breeders in the NY-PA area. She is looking for a working line GSD puppy. One that has great temperament, good on/off switch, and one that has enough drive to do narcotics work but at the same time not chase and eat hers cats at home.
Personality/temperament is her #1 priority. I know most good breeders choose the puppy best fit but she needs a female as she already has a male GSD, who is intact, who isn't the greatest with other male dogs. Color really isn't an issue, as long as its not a sable (unless it will be dark) or a traditional blk/tan saddle back.
Parents need to be OFA certified, family raised, and have titles etc.
Wants a breeder in driving distance as she wants to be able to drive and meet the breeder in person as well as meet the breeders dogs.
If anyone has any breeders that are in these states, please post. If anyone has questions for her, let me know.
The few I know of, don't have any litters planned soon.

Well- I may have pups soon - not 100% sure! Hexe (sire is a Sch3, LE K9, and has siblings on both sides who are LE dogs) is bred and due in 4ish weeks....Csabre is bred to a wonderful Czech (born, but half Belgian) male who is in Buffalo...her littermate is a State LE dog in Vermont and a narcotics dog as well...both females are OFA Good/Normal, Koer Class 1, and have good pigment...but most of my pups will be sables....

There are well bred gsds in Buffalo? They must keep them under lock and key. All I see around here are giant black and tan gsds who give roach back new meaning.
