Mondays and Fridays usually work for me for hikes--what time do you get out of school Ashley?
I didn't know you did pet sitting, Trish! We are looking for a new pet sitter--ours moved away. I have some friends who love to stay with Cleo and also love Rafi but he doesn't get enough exercise when they stay with him so I always just end up taking him with me (which isn't always possible).
I will see if I can stop by on Saturday with Mr. Rafi-Doodle.

I will be at the VIP Pet Sitting booth handing out cards and such. Sorry, no Tuesday's for us. Gene is coming back the first weekend in November I think. Do you know if Ben and Hank got their title? If you guys want to plan a hike during the week I am game. Weekends are pretty full of other dog stuff. Yep! Ben said it was rough, but they made it! And he got his decoy 1. YAY! What city are ya in? I'm in Syr. Are you taking your kiddos out on the weekends? Maybe I'll come out and let Medo play with the bad guy

I am in the Buffalo area. Worked for VIP for a few years part time, but I am not an official employee any more. My dogs just take up too much time in addition to work and some online classes. I did do a spot fill in for a job the past couple of weekends for a favor as the owner was really short sitters. I would be game this Monday for something. I work until about 3ish.

Not sure if your friend found a breeder yet and what their timeline is, but Deb Z's business partner will be breeding her girl Nike this winter ( http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=575353). Jody is really knowledgable and Nike will be going for her SchH 1 in 2 weeks at the club's fall trial (if your friend wanted to make the trekk to Rochester to see her).

No, she has not chosen a breeder yet. She is really unsure of what she wants to do, as she wants to make sure she chooses the right thing and doesn't make a "jump the gun" type of decision.
She is kind of afraid, I guess we could say, about going to a breeder she has never dealt with before and doesn't know if she wants to venture away from the breeder she has always dealt with and the lines her other GSD was. I have told her how highly recommended the breeders are on the list I gave her.
Time will tell, I guess. We'll see...
