I am eagerly awaiting the news of Luka's homecoming to his forever home. I am so excited and nervous for him. It just sounds perfect.

I second what Elisabeth said. I'd love to hear updates from his new family as well.

Things went really well on our visit - it is such a nice warm, cozy and quiet home. Well, it was - as of Sunday the Cuz invasion will liven things right up!

Again - thanks. I didn't get their permission to post their faces...so...this is a little different, but you can see that he will be SO loved. They waited over a year for their new dog after their dog passed from cancer...Luka waited almost a year for them.

Wait a minute. Once again, I know those people.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy for our beautiful black hunky Luka! Best Christmas present ever to hear that he's found his forever after loving and happy home! (I have tears in my eyes, I'm so happy right now! And I'm not making that up; I'm that big of a sappy dork! Sniff. )

Yep - I always socialize the dogs to Bow-Heads.

Mr. and Mrs. Kringle are great. They got to Tractor Supply at 6:05 this morning to get his crate. I emailed them from "my" TSC at 9 to say hey, crates are going fast here, and they emailed right back - I felt like a slacker!

I really do appreciate it - the whole dork thing - I actually cried, too when I read through all the responses before and after the picture. So much kindness and many wise words.

Diane - I remember seeing pictures of your Dodge - the studio one I think it was in particular and always thought he was one of the most stunning dogs I had ever seen.
